CS First with Google is not only a great tool for teachers, but also for parents who would like to volunteer their time by facilitating a club. The new curriculums use Scratch 3.0.

Why a club? You can see what the different students are doing. You can keep track of progress and identify when someone needs a little bit of help. Google provides free printed materials when you start a club.

There is something for everyone. Check out the different themes.

What do you need? Laptops or computers, Chrome as a browser, Internet access and students (optional).

Can you as a parent just learn without starting a club? Yes! Follow the free training online. It all starts with creating an account and reserving a few hours on the computer. If you don't have a computer or internet, go to the public library.
